Enhance Your Orthopaedic Leadership Skills at the 2024 AOA|USC APEX

The American Orthopaedic Association (AOA) is partnering once again with the University of Southern California’s Marshall School of Business, Executive Education, to present the 2024 AOA|USC APEX Leadership Conference: Achieving Peak Performance. This newly designed program will feature two, one-and-a-half-day sessions, focusing on essential leadership skills tailored for today’s orthopaedic surgeons.

This session will emphasize building change management capabilities, crucial for thriving in today’s turbulent environment. It will cover a well-established change management approach and its practical application through an engaging online simulation. Participants will learn to implement best practices, secure stakeholder buy-in, and guide their organizations to success. A debriefing will allow for critical comparisons between the simulation and real-world organizational challenges, focusing on strategies to convert resistance into support.
